Hi there, I’m guessing if you’ve ended up on this page then you probably want to know more about me than is written in the back of my books or on my publisher’s website, so here goes:

My name is Catherine, I’m 43 this year, (2026) and I’m a New York Times Bestselling author who writes psychological thrillers. I am also a screenwriter though I used to be an actress before writing full time

I’ve written six books to date, one tv series and two movies. All of those books are available to buy or pre-order now, if you want to check them out, and the sixth one NINE LIVES is set for publication on June 23rd 2026! Which is very exciting!

I’ve also written an award winning short story, STOCKHOLM, which is available via Amazon Prime. It’s set in the Arctic circle, under the chilling glow of the northern lights — when an anniversary trip goes terribly wrong one woman will have to risk everything in a desperate battle for survival. It won an ITW Award for Best Short Story. So, if you’ve read all my books and need something to keep you busy between publications please go and check out STOCKHOLM.

You can also watch the TV series I wrote, for Paramount +, via the links over in the Screenwriting section. We are still waiting for a TX date on OUR FAULT: LONDON on PRIME but that should be released in 2027.

And very eagle-eyed readers may possibly recognise me from my work as an actress. If you’re British you probably recognise me from The Inbetweeners (Daisy) and if you’re American you probably recognise me from Downton Abbey (Mabel Lane Fox). I have also appeared in the Westend a few times and have been nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for my theatre work.
