About Catherine
Hi there, if you’ve clicked on this page then you probably want to know more about me beyond what’s written in the back of my books or on my publisher’s website, so here goes:
My name is Catherine, I’m 41 this year, (2024) and I’m a New York Times Bestselling author who writes psychological thrillers.
I’ve written six books to date, one tv series and one movie. Five of those books are available to buy (pre-order) now, if you want to check them out, and the sixth one is set for publication in summer 2025! Which is very exciting!
I’ve also written a short story, STOCKHOLM, which is available via Amazon Prime. It’s set in the Arctic circle, under the crisp glow of the northern lights — when an anniversary trip goes terribly wrong one woman will have to risk everything in a desperate battle for survival. It won an ITW Award last year for Best Short Story (*blushes). So, if you’ve read all my books and need something to keep you busy between publications go check out STOCKHOLM via the link on the website.
You can also watch the TV series I wrote, for Paramount +, via the links over in the Screenwriting section.
And very eagle-eyed readers may possibly recognise me from my work as an actress. I’ve played characters in a few things that you might have seen. But if you’re British you probably recognise me from The Inbetweeners (Daisy) and if you’re American you probably recognise me from Downton Abbey (Mabel Lane Fox). I have also appeared in the Westend (the UK’s version of Broadway) a few times and was once nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award (the UK version of a Tony).
